The Groz  Quick Release Woodworking Vice is traditional pattern vice designed for the professional woodworker.  Simply press the trigger to activate the quick-release function, and the front jaw will slide freely, allowing you to interchange large or small workpieces smoothly. Release the trigger to return to normal function for fine adjustments.

These are manufactured from close-grained grey cast iron with accurately machined housings to ensure smooth sliding movement and a true parallel action free of side or cross movement. The vice jaws are equipped with a "TOE-IN" feature that ensures even clamping on the whole depth of the workpiece when fully closed.

This vice is also a tail vice, thanks to the adjustable front dog, which can be used in conjunction with a bench stop to hold oversize workpieces securely.
