The Groz Magnetic Compass is a multi-functional tool that combines the functions of an Angle Finder, Center Locator, and Levelling Gauge into one compact device. Designed to provide full 360° readings via an accurate and balanced needle, this tool is useful to determine angles on shapers, milling machines, grinders, etc in tool rooms and machine shops. The protractor body is encased in a durable cast aluminium shell and the legs are made from cast iron, making it both durable and reliable. The Vee bases have built-in magnets that exert a magnetic pull both within the Vee and across the bottom surface of the legs. This allows the tool to attach instantly to any ferrous surface, making it easy to use in the field. The bases are precision ground, and the center pin shows the middle point, making it easy to locate centers on round objects.
