Simply turn the handle to tighten the vice, and when you need to release the workpiece, turn the handle in the opposite direction, and the screw is disengaged, allowing the front jaw to slide freely.

Our woodworking vice is manufactured from close-grained grey cast iron and is accurately machined for smooth sliding movement. The vice jaws are equipped with a "TOE-IN" feature that ensures even clamping on the whole depth of the workpiece when fully closed. The main screw has Buttress threads that provide smooth, accurate and responsive adjustment.
